Forklift Training

This Safe On Site Inc. safety program guides you through every aspect of Forklift Safety. Our course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasizing key points while testing your knowledge after each module you complete. This course has been designed to meet Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines set forth by the CSA. By completing this course, you will improve your knowledge of overall forklift safety in the workplace. Please keep in mind that Forklift certificates are valid for three years.

Working at Heights

This Safe On Site Inc. training program has been approved by the Ontario Chief Prevention Officer, meeting all the standards for the practical knowledge required for safely working at heights. You will participate in hands-on equipment and setup exercises, and we will showcase safe practices and procedures as specified in regulations set out by the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario.

Confined Spaces

This Safe On Site Inc. safety program will guide you through all aspects of working in a Confined Space; from entry and exit, to safe work and rescue procedures. This training course will explain what you need to know, emphasizing key points as well as testing your knowledge after every module you complete. Elevating Work Platforms / Aerial Lift

This Safe On Site Inc. safety program is intended for persons operating an aerial lift, commonly referred to a Scissor Lift or Boom Lift. Our course has been developed in accordance with federal and provincial legislation as safety training for workplaces across Canada. This course covers topics such as the division of responsibilities, personal protective equipment, fall protection considerations, different types of aerial lifts, operating procedures, associated hazards, and safe work place practices.

WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)

This Safe On Site Inc. knowledge course, includes the new Globally Harmonized System of classification and labelling for chemicals (GHS) enacted in 2015. It also covers content from the previous WHMIS system (WHMIS 1988). Canadian law requires that any person exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace must be trained in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). The program covers your duties and responsibilities under WHMIS; explains the different hazard classifications including pictograms, hazard communication and safety data sheets. Ladder Safety

This Safe On Site Inc. training course guides you through all aspects of ladders including: hazard identification, ladder types, set up, PPE, maintenance, storage & handling, and inspection. You will also be trained on what to do proactively to eliminate potential risks in the workplace and how to properly follow all safety procedures. Violence in the Workplace

This Safe On Site Inc. training course emphasis that everyone should be able to work in a safe and healthy workplace. The Occupational Health and Safety Act sets out roles and responsibilities for everyone with respect to workplace violence and workplace harassment. Developing and implementing policies and programs, and providing information and instruction will be fully covered within our program.

Hazard Recognition – Worker Health & Safety Awareness in 4 Steps

This Safe On Site course introduces workers to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. Respiratory Fit

This Safe On Site Inc. course will assist those who are required to wear a respirator. First time users, if it has been two years since your last fitting, or if you required retesting “whenever changes to the user’s physical condition could affect the respirator”, we’re here to help. Respirators are commonly used in health care facilities like hospitals as well as industrial workplaces where workers are exposed to potentially harmful airborne particles such as dusts, mists, or gases.
